How We Verify Deals
We grade each deal by comparing its price with the prices we have recorded for it.
Verification Grades
A deal gets a grade only after we have recorded its price on 3 separate days. Prices that need a code or coupon are never graded, because our record tracks the shelf price. Until then, the Keepa graph lets you judge for yourself.

| Fake “was” price | The stated “was” price is more than 20% above the usual price — the discount is exaggerated. |
| Checking | We have recorded this price on fewer than 3 separate days; the verdict comes on day 3. |
| Not checked yet | No price record yet, or the price needs a code or coupon — we don't grade those. |
Coupon Code Verification
Coupon codes are extracted automatically from deal feed titles (DealNews, Slickdeals, etc.). We do not live-test codes at checkout. Instead, we show the source feed, initial fetch time, last re-check time, and expiry date (when known) so you can judge reliability. Always verify the code at the retailer's checkout page.
Price History Graphs
For deals with an Amazon ASIN, we embed a Keepa price-history graph and link to Keepa's interactive chart — giving you months or years of actual price data in one click. Keepa.
Deal Ranking
The deal score (0–100) combines the Keepa price-history grade (all-time low / great deal), drop from peak, freshness, ASIN presence, and claimed discount percentage. External deals without price history (e.g. DealNews / Slickdeals links) are marked 'Pending Verification' and rank lower until ASIN-level data is available.
